Laxmi Niwas Palace, Bikaner

Housed in a majestic palace built in 1902, this heritage hotel is the former residential palace of the king of the former Bikaner state, Mahārāja Ganga Singh. Now it is possible for everyone to gaze at hand-painted friezes and gold-laden walls or examine up close the  ornate furniture and Indo-Saracen architecture with its filigree and lattice work. Regular traditional Rajasthani puppet and music performances are held in the garden.
